I am Edmond Tapero, a Post-Doctoral fellow in Accounting at Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. I graduated in August 2025 from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
I hold an MA in Economics (with a thesis) and an MA in Accounting, both from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
I also earned an MSc in Technology and Information Systems and an MBA from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Additionally, I hold a BA in Accounting and Economics from Bar-Ilan University.
Research Focus
My research lies at the intersection between managerial and financial accounting. Specifically, I am investigating the role of cost elasticity in predicting firms' likelihood of reversing losses. Currently, I am analyzing how variations in cost structures impact key earnings attributes.
