About Edmond Tapero

Edmond Tapero is a PhD candidate in Accounting at the Coller School of Management, Tel Aviv University, Israel, with an expected graduation date of August 2025.

Edmond Tapero holds an MA in Economics, with a thesis, and an MA in Accounting from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He also earned an MSc in Technology and Information Systems and an MBA  from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Additionally, his BA in Economics and Accounting is also from Bar-Ilan University.

His research lies at the intersection between Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.

Prior to beginning his PhD, Edmond worked for the Bank of Israel for nearly nine years, overseeing the collection and analysis of financial data from Israel’s commercial banking sector and editing the bank's financial statements. He also spent a year as an auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) and two years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
